Kelly Anderson with two titles, the 1500 and 10,000, and a third place in the 5k. She's a freshman. That's a brutal meet. Lots of young studettes on the women's team, there's no end to their domination of the Summit. Suck it jacks, yotes and fawkers.

Most impressive athlete of the meet - men or women in my opinion:

Kelby Anderson - NDSU freshman from Bismarck. She won the 10K on Th, then came back (on tired legs) to win the 1500m earlier in the day on Friday (and in a pretty good time), then ran the 5000m at the end of the meet on Friday and took third. It generally takes a few days to recover fully from a hard run 10K.

That was about 10 miles of racing, over the three events. She earns my vote for MVP of the women at the Summit Championships this year.

(Ahh .. 89MTBison ... did not see your post until after I posted this).

When are NCAA participants selected, or has that happened already?

Laura Roesler has signed up for the USA T&F Championships around 25-27 July. Nice to see this.

She had a very good indoor season (three races only, but set personal bests (PB) at both 800m and 1000m). I don't believe she has run a single race outdoors yet. Good article/interview with her a few months ago. She said she has been battling injuries since graduating from Oregon - said during the indoor season she was finally running pain free again. I wonder if she did not get re-injured, if this is the reason for no outdoor races so far - I don't know, just wondering. In any case, glad to see she will be at the Championships. Be nice if she can get healthy and back in form. She's got a race or two well below her present PB in the 800m - if it can all come together.

Anyone know about Riley (javelin) or Maddie (3000m Steeplchase, or 5000m) this year for the Championships?
