They should get the full experience in flying to a tournament destination and getting their butts kicked by a 1 vs going to Dayton and possibly losing to a 11 win Hampton team
I agree with you but they would never play an 11 since they match the 16s against each other and the last in at-larges against each other.

Make it the last 8 in and put them in the 11s. Make 12-16 one bid winners

That I can get behind. I've always felt bad for the 16 that won their league tourney only to get beat by another 16 in the play in game. Never getting to experience the real NCAA tourney or experiencing playing against a high major team.

Going to attempt to break it down for the 16s. Typically the SWAC/MEAC/MAAC are 16s. Cant always look at record. Penn from IVY was a 16 last year with 8 losses.

    Summit: NDSU 18-15.
OOC L: NMSU, Gonzaga, Iowa St,
    OOC W: UCSB?

    Big South: Gardner- Webb 23-11
OOC L: VCU, VA Tech, Furman,
OOC W: GA Tech, Wake Forest

    MAAC: Iona 17-15
OOC L: Providence, VCU, New Mexico, Yale
    OOC W: No quality

    NEC: Farleigh Dickinson 20-13
OOC L: Rutgers, Providence, S. Florida
    OOC W: No quality

America East: Hope Binghamton or Hartford win.
Big West: Hope a lower seed wins
Ivy: Maybe Penn? has 11 losses.
MEAC: We will likely be ahead of any champion.
Patriot: Colgate. Likely ahead of us.
Southland: Hope for a lower seed. Need SHSU to lose.
SWAC: We will likely be ahead of any champion.
WAC: Hope a lower seed wins.

    16: MEAC
    SWAC
    FDU
    NDSU

    Iona
    Gardner Webb

Bold are locked into play-in. We may only need one more big upset,

Also in the Big Sky, would be helpful if #1 Montana (Sac State) and #2 UNC (SUU) lose in their tourney, they both play today.

Interesting, would be tough to get past UCF to get to the sweet 16.
