Yeah, as I'm looking at the brackets now, none of the scenarios out there have us in the same region. And of course, it's a pipe dream anyway because we'd have to get by a top seed, which would be sufficiently remarkable to make me care less about a rematch with NMSU.
I don't care what Jim says. That is not the real Ben Franklin. I'm 99% certain.

Also lost to UIW, which is worse than a bad loss. There should be a new category for 'WTF? Losses' for that one.
Yes we did beat them. My bad.

    N. Colorado goes down.

Yikes if that happened I’d never hear the end of it, unless we pulled off the miracle... I’d get run out of town.

The bracketology sites I checked have either NDSU or Iona in the play in game. Iona and NDSU appear to be neck and neck as the 64/65th teams. Someone needs to beat Montana in the Big Sky tournament to ensure the Bison don't have to be in the play in game. Montana would be seeded higher than the Bison. Anyone else in that conference would probably be seeded lower.

Just tell everybody we want them to schedule us in football as we would like an SEC victory.

Teams we want to see lose that might help us move up:

    Montana
    Sam Houston State
    Prairie View A&M
    New Mexico State
UC Irvine & UC Santa Barbara
    Yale

I also think Iona would be in Dayton before NDSU. They're ranked 20 spots below NDSU in the RPI, overall SOS is 50 spots worse, and non-conference SOS is over 100 spots worse. Iona also has a whopping 8 quadrant 4 losses (NDSU has 4).

If any gets ahead of us it would be Norfolk St. Im not too worried about Prairie View A&M (if they win the SWAC) being above us on the seed list.

NET rankings for auto bid winners, conference leaders, and teams with a chance at an at large can be found at this link. NDSU is currently ranked 222 in the NET rankings posted by both the NCAA and warren nolan
