But the Bison didn't lose to ORU! They are on an upward trend. The Bison are one of only 60 some teams that will qualify for the NCAA Tournament this year. They are on an upward trend. Win totals are 95-66 during the Richman years, every program except for the blue bloods would take that.
Sorry, but the March Madness berth trumps and buries everything else so the program is definitely on an upward trend.
I'm still not sold. We have zero inside game. Our best post up player is probably Ward.
Summit is weak this year. We need to be much more competitive against the better non conference opponents. When is the last time we beat a top 30 team?

So, as it became more and more Richman's program, you were never the least bit concerned in its direction with win totals going from Saul's 11-14-17-24-26 to Dave's 23-20-19-15-15 (before tourney)? No one is calling for DR's job now that we fortunately won the tourney. With that said, the 1-season of upward trend you refer to better turn into 2 and another dance next year.
Stand your ground, have a tough hide, roam wild and free, have a strong spirit, let the chips fall where they may.
Sorry, but winning 3 straight games especially with two of them coming against teams with less than 10 wins, doesn't erase 4 years of ever worsening mediocrity. Personally, i hope DR takes this group to 25 wins next year and gets a 12-13 seed in the Dance. If so, hopefully we make him the highest paid coach in the Summit and lock him in for another 5 years. Until then, the sunshine pumpers need to take a deep breath.

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.
