I thought we were an Ag School?
If SDSU is a basketball school, I guess we can call ourselves that as well, the difference is marginal at best.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles"
When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

A couple of notes about this thread.
We do have some advantages over some of the weaker schools in our league. IFPW plays in a gym similar to Morehead High School, ORU has zero fan interest, Western is underfunded
We have a new basketball practice facility, newly renovated main gym, weight room, renovated locker rooms and nutrition station all in same building.
We do offer cost of attendance to each of our student athletes and most of our games are broadcast on Midco Sports Net. We have won the conference tournament championship 4 out of the 11 years. 4 NDSU, 2 Oakland, 5 SDSU.
We have been in the championship game 6 of 11 years. SDSU has been in the championship 6 of 11 times.
We have 1 NCAA tournament victory (SDSU zero for all the talented players they have had).
Our league is getting better in terms of facilities in that SDSU, USD, Omaha are have remodeled or newer facilities. We need the other schools to keep pushing to make us all better which would hopefully translate in a more wins overall for the conference. It would be tremendous if we could recruit Grand Canyon and/or New Mexico State to help increase the level of play and get good home-games.
I would love the idea of nmsu and Gcu joining. I've read Denver has always been opposed to gcu, but they are no longer for-profit, so maybe the objection has lessened. I have no idea if the Summit is still of interest to gcu. For nmsu, they would be resigning themselves to no FBS invite, and that's probably tough for them to swallow. But still, Summit basketball has got to be better than WAC right now and in the near future.
I don't care what Jim says. That is not the real Ben Franklin. I'm 99% certain.
If we were a basketball school, they would make a recap video. Pretty pathetic of the athletic department who clearly doesnt give two shits
