Default 3/10 Summit League Tourney Opener vs. Oral Roberts

Tip at 6 PM. Game will be a big factor in Larson's decision-making to extend Richman or not. Bison swept Oral Roberts in the regular season, with the main highlight being Cam Hunter catching a body in the final minutes of the road win. Both teams are riding high heading into Sioux Falls after closing out the regular season with signature wins (ORU over Omaha and NDSU over PFW). Should be a fun one.

Shameless plug: For a preview of sorts heading into the tournament, here's my March column at Bison Illustrated detailing how the Bison appear to be peaking at just the right time and what exactly has transpired to get to this point.

Should be an interesting game. ORU can go really big now with the return of their best player. They do have an injury to their starting pg so who knows if he will be able to go.

We lit up their zone def last time in Fargo and they struggled mightly staying in front of us when they went man to man.

    I expect a close game.

These two teams are playing some of their best ball late in the season and I look forward to munching on some popcorn and a beer at the Denny and taking it in.

Let's hope we are not having a case of cold shooting if the CNP offense is in town.

Does it really matter if we BEAT ORAL ROBERTS???

I guess it helps not finish with a losing record----

I'd bet some $$$ we wouldn't beat our next opponent in the semis---Ol Dauminator

I don't think it's the ultimate decider, but losing in the first round for the second time in three years would be a bad look. I really believe the team's performance in Sioux Falls *could* decide whether Richman gets an extension. Just the unfortunate reality of mid-major basketball.
