    Unfortunate to hear about Watson. Would be a noticeable blow to an already thin depth chart. Hopefully "next man up" and we get some people ascending the depth chart and earning snaps.

    And also no veteran QB returning could make it harder for younger WR's to get up to speed and be productive.

    I'm hoping Mathis has a good camp. It would be great if we could develop a nice long receiver that could go up high and take a jump ball.

    That is how things turned out, but before the season a number of posters were concerned that this was the greatest weakness on the team. There was a thread I started where a number of people were really nervous about this area. Was Shep really considered one of the greats before his last year?
