Default WrestleStat Rankings - Final Regular Season - 2018-2019

The final regular season rankings have been generated.

    Wrestler Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/starters

    Dual Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/dual

    Tournament Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/tournament

    Redshirt Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/redshirts

Also, I made some adjustments to the RPI rankings to follow closer what the actual formula uses. It is as close to the real thing as we can get, without the NCAA telling us what the real formula is...

I must have never seen the RPI formula before, because I would have swore you had a typo in your description. But, I saw the same formula on wikipedia, and I think it's probably pretty close. Lorenzo De La Riva will be an interesting one to watch. He wasn't in the official top 33 last time with plenty of matches, but your formula has him at 24.

We should be able to answer whether D1 redshirts are counted by looking at Andrew Fogarty. He is sitting right at 17 D1 matches at #19 on your list, with at least one of those against a redshirt. So, if he's not on the official list, I will conclude that D1 redshirts are excluded.

I got clarification on that from Jason Bryant, matches vs redshirting wrestlers DO count, since they could come out of redshirt at any time, and retroactively have all their matches for the season be official.

The only time it does NOT count is when the wrestler joins the team part-way through the season, ala Todd Small of Iowa State.
