When you dont have to take a week off of work, get hotels for the week, and drive in a seemingly annual blizzard, well then pack the house. Huge advantage to the 2 and soon to be 3 south Dakota schools where you can just drive 15 minutes to the game after work

The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

Yeah, Fago has no venue that can compete with the SF arena, the tournament shouldn't be here. Maybe if we got a new dome that had a better hoops setup but that isn't happening anytime soon.

Also to jacksfan, I want to add that the vast majority of the fans there are either SF residents or live a short drive away. I stay in the hotels, it isn't hard to get a feel for the amount of fans that are coming in from far off and it isn't that big. If Douple made it a prioirty to change the dates the tournament could be a bigger deal but from what I gathered when I asked some media people a few questions it doesn't seem like he gives a single damn about making any changes.

I think if the league worked to make it more travel friendly other schools would have a bigger investment in having it in SF, which would be better for the league long term.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

Would be no problem for a fanbase that cared about basketball. NDSU not a basketball school in any way. It's ok.

As I mentioned before just come join us in the student section, we all know students don't actually use it so my group will be there in the front row just like we have been for the last 10 years.

I hope some reality has sunk in for a few BV's----I KNOW we WANT our mens team to SURPRISE US and win the SUMMIT

but like the great Denny Green-----WE ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE----an average team with poor coaching but some potential talent that needs to be untapped

This is the best way to put it. A lot of potential, but also needs to get tougher defensively.
