Join the Green and the Gold Collective to take Bison football to the next level. Starts at $10 a month
The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

I’m all for this Tampa CB. There is nothing small time about him. If you want stars, look up. If you can’t seem them, go outside and look up.

We don't need 3 stars behind their name we need good football players that are smart buy into the system and are here for the legacy, not for the individual accolades. Those things come with greatness, and becoming a Bison is one of a young mans greatest choices. Ill take a kid with heart, skill and determination day in and day out.
It certainly says a lot about Gaetan Louissant being a priority. Makes sense too with getting a home visit in prior to his Fargo visit this weekend.
With Feb 5th looming, the coaches need to know in a hurry where they stand at this priority recruiting position - a taller CB prospect. As we have seen from the coaches twitter responses, there are many players who could be looked at.
I had one of those tweets jump out at me as it was from a coach at Discovery High School

@Rochester8Ant
is your guy! He can do it all! 3.5 GPA 1010 SAT. 1st Team All Region. All County & State Honorable Mention! He can cover Man, Cover Zone, & come up & Tackle! Get you another Titan like
@KobeTjohnson !
As Kobe Johnson was a late find last recruiting season, (from Discovery) this might be an endorsement that gets paid attention to. I admittedly don’t watch a lot of HUDL, but took the time here because of the Discovery HS connection. Very impressive, physical nature to his game and 7A football in Georgia, well, wow! Unfortunately he is playing safety/slot/lb in most of the plays - with CB being the priority recruiting position - so perhaps the connection to the coaching staff would help answer questions about speed, position flexibility etc.Anthony Rochester Jr

Was a 2020 NDSU interest.
You’re always trying to start shit. Your problem is you don’t give the kids a chance before they show up on campus. You go by how some random person rates a kids ability. And a lot of those stars are given to kids because of who’s recruiting them. Would stars be great? Sure I guess but we only give out about 60 offers a year compared to say Iowa State who will send out 300+.

Since 2014:
Sampling of low 2 star or 1 star recruits according to 24/7: James Hendricks, Zach Johnson, Derrek Tuszka, Dillon Radunz, Spencer Waege
Sampling of unrated recruits according to 24/7: Kobe Johnson, Julian Wlodarczyk, Jalen Bussey, Jasir Cox, Bruce Anderson, Cole Karcz, Ty Brooks, Darrius Shepherd, Jalen Allison, Dan Marlette, Tanner Volson, Lance Dunn, Colin Conner
Tanner Sundt, Cameron Hackl, Sean Engel, Moses Nyangacha, Brandon Lund, Brandon Hines....all were rated in the top 5 of their NDSU recruiting class. IIRC, Only Sundt and Engel were on the team after one year.....Hines left after one day of practice, didn't he?
