Does anyone really believe the President hasn't already been involved in this? I still think BR needs to tell Mom it's okay to tell the press who the "trusted staff member" is rather than refusing to identify him.
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Caffeine isn’t banned, per se, levels are just limited/regulated.

Either way, nothing illegal, this will die a slow death and go away

No it is banned...the NCAA just puts out guidance on the amounts you can used without getting caught

Exactly my thoughts while I read this article. Pretty clear McFeely has been lurking. Hi Mike!

Could it be as simple as understanding each's definition of "provided by"?

Brock's mom appears to be focusing on who brought the product into the locker room originally, as she has stated and intimated several times of this being institutional. Her thinking may be that if it wasn't there in the first place none of this would have happened (a very tenuous assumption indeed, imho, if that is the thinking when it comes to young men). Matt Larson appears to be focusing on who specifically may have provided the product during that specific day or specific time period in which the specific testing was failed. If that is the case, they both could be telling their version of the truth, and only Brock can clarify who actually gave him the product that day.

The thing is though, Larson is stating it was another student-athlete (the original article quotes him as saying "another student-athlete", but might he have actually said "a student-athlete"?). I'm thinking he must have some specific information to that affect, but cannot disclose it. And the other thing is, I highly doubt that Brock wants to "out" one of his team "brothers" for what could be a simple mistake.

Don't be surprised if, and I do mean IF, this caffeine supplement scenario ends up playing out as surmised, and IF it does turn out to be a simple mistake by "another student-athlete" (or Brock himself in the case of "a student-athlete"?), that Brock's mom still says it's the responsibility of the "trusted program member" because he is the "adult" in this situation and proper supervision of her child in relation to this product was not done.

They still say it’s banned but specify how much will result in a failed drug test.
