The band or the college football team?

I’m not sure the latter is done, but Garth Brooks did a number on the former. Regardless, both were great during their peak(s).

wow they lose one game and you spring that shit? oh I get it --- you forgot the purple.
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles"

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

I believe JMU used the same train of thought when they ended NDSU’s streak in 2016.

Frank Leahy's teams at Notre Dame from 1943 to 1947 had a record of 45-1-2. Not bad.

Concordia St Paul womens volleyball won 9 National Championships in 11 seasons from 2007 to 2017.

    Very impressive.

They've won every conference title since 1992 too. That said, I like NDSU's 12-2 record in NCAA championship games more than Mount Union's 13-8.

Seems like every year, we've played teams that were on the verge of becoming a dynasty. Even after we've beaten them, they were all destined to come back and start their own long string of championships.........Sam Houston, Jacksonville State, Illinois State, James Madison and now Eastern Washington. At least Towson seemed to understand they were a one horse team and not likely to return.
