Default Points of interest along the way to Frisco, and Dallas/Frisco area.

Well this is my 5th trip, always love enjoying seeing different country and what's along the way. What are some of your favorite stops along the way?
We try to make it a point to stop at the welcome to Texas sign. Once stopped at a cotton field in Kansas. Stay in the Ft. Worth old stockyards area...all the bars...Hit downtown JFK memorial and Hard Rock cafe. Wouldn't mind hitting Cowboy stadium or that huge casino in OK on interstate.
    Other ideas??

If you have kids there are 2 zoos in DFW. The World Aquarium and the Perot Museum. We have thought about swinging through OKC to the memorial there.

OKC memorial is definitely worth it IMO.

^this. We enjoyed the tour a lot.

Also, even if a person doesn't have an amazing time doing some of these other things along the way or while down there, at least you can say you did it. This is just me, but when we travel we like to go on tours or see unique things specific to an area we're in. This also includes our food stops. Dad loves his Denny's, but I refuse to go to a Denny's unless it's literally the only and last option.

Great Zoo in Omaha. The SAC museum west of Omaha is good. If you are interested in train locomotives, the is a Big Boy on display in a park on the bluff where I80 crosses into Omaha.
The weather in Fargo keeps the undesirables out.....

...Which is why I live near the Twin Cities.

I hear that Toyota Stadium in Frisco is a decent place to be this Saturday.

If you're from South Dakota or SDSU, you probably wouldn't understand.
