Amy is +1 through 12 and 4 back. Hopefully she can manage a couple birdies on the last 6 holes
Amy got on a little bogie train today. She ended up shooting a 2 over 73. 5 bogies and 3 birdies. She sits 4 under par for the tourney. She was on tv a lot at the beginning of her round. Her shots to the green seemed to bounce accross the greens. Her putting seemed tenative but she took 30 putts which isnt bad. Hopefully better tomorrow.
She’s five strokes back going into moving day dufferole. She needs to press hard tomorrow, take down the par 5s, and use her Texas wedge and hard earned creativity around those sun baked greens, and she can gain some ground! I’ve seen her hit some beautiful runners this week already, so she has that shot in her arsenal. Run those approach shots up and in instead of trying to launch em high and make em stop close on those unforgiving and unpredictable caliche greens! Maybe this was her off round this week and it is out of her system.
How about Amy, Ariya J, and Inbee Park in the final group on Sunday?!?

Missing those three 3 footers and the bogie on the
par 5 on the front was a little too much to overcome.
Had a birdie coming in though.

She is swinging the club a lot better than her results show dufferole. Beautifully in fact. Here’s to a great Asian swing and finish in the CME Championship!
