1st round in the alternate shot format resulted in a 1 over score.

Not their best, but tomorrow will be dufferole (pun intended ). Lot of fun teams to watch. Rookies Kupcho and Fassi are going to do some great things on the LPGA I think, and their talent, attitudes, and enthusiasm are very reassuring for the future of the game! They are loving it and it shows! And they are not skeered of anybody! We need a couple more Bison to join Amy and them and some of the other real role models at the highest level!

Reoccurring theme .... not the best, but tomorrow.

Probably “free beer tomorrow” sign in clubhouse too.

You might have missed the prior discussion regarding the format of this event CAS. It alternates between alternate shot on
Day 1 and then four ball over the four days of the event. Four ball is a best ball or better ball format with each player on a two person team playing their own ball. The team takes the better/best score once all have finished the hole. Hence the comment that they didn’t play their “best” today, but they will tomorrow. Cheers! Here’s the link again which explains this new and unique event! And here is to it being a great and ongoing success!: https://www.lpga.com/news/2019-excit...y-invitational

All that remains here is a quick recap at your convenience dufferole. Cut missed by just one again. Their best ball score was a little better than average, and their alternating shot score was a bit worse. Sure that they are both extremely disappointed, as they have been very close friends for some time and this was an opportunity to do something very special in a team event. On to Evian and the Women's Open!! Great athletes have to have very short memories, especially this year with the upcoming schedule!:

Cyndney Clanton is on the first place team going into the final day. She has not won in 7 years on tour, so this would be a life changer for her!

Congrats to Cydney and Jasmine on a very nice win today in Michigan. About a quarter million each plus a lot of perks and exemptions including The Evian and the Women’s Open!! Not just a bit of cushion, but career changing for them both!

On to The Evian and The Open dufferole and SlickVic! Two biggies back to back!! Maybe Amy will win em both!
