I think they measure one of them upwind and one downwind in a further effort to eliminate variables. They also try to use the holes where the players will most likely actually use driver. More on the driving topic dufferole:

Back to -8 and T4 just a couple off first place with three to play. What a competitive tournament with this all star field.

Could she have another one up her sleeve on 18 PuckNut? May not be a Grant Olson 29 tackle kind of outing, but sure is fun watching her play her heart out against this caliber of a field alongside world #1 and Michelle Wie. Amy has proven she can stand the heat very well it seems. In fact she thrives on it.

Amy Olson is finished for the day -9 and T3. Very good experience today to build from, and wonderful to watch the great sportsmanship on display between Amy and her playing partners, Ariya and Michelle. Amy Olson is a diamond in the rough and a wonderful ambassador for NDSU and for the great state of North Dakota! I think the last time Amy was paired with Ariya Jutanugarn was in match play a few years back in the Lorena Ochoa event. Ariya absolutely schooled Amy that day, yet you would be hard pressed to see any difference in Amy’s attitude or demeanor from that day to this one. She is truly a role model and equally positive and gracious whether it is going her way or otherwise, and that is pretty rare today in professional sports or anywhere for that matter (see current events). Have to add that I was very impressed with how world #1 Ariya handled herself both times as well. Moving day tomorrow! GoAmy...GoAriya and Moriya and Michelle....GoBison!!
