    They are underway in Hazeltine! Here is to Amy’s strategy of waiting to play in this one paying off! Noticed that she is not playing next week either, so seems to very much be focused on this event!

    +2 thru 9 sitting about 40th.
    shot a 5 on 3. that's been it, par the other 8

    Hopefully she can claw back closer to even these last few holes.

    Those under par today look like they did some damage on the 6 7 8th and 9th.

    Amy finished her 1st round with a disappointing 5 over round which included a triple and double bogey on par threes. Her stats were ok until greens in regulation ( 13 of 18) and putts ( 33 ). She had talked about focusing practice on her short game b4 the tourney but it looks like it needs more work.

    Reposting this as it shows video of a lot of her playing today dufferole and seems to confirm your post here also. Her full swing looks great! Short game, scrambling, and putting do not look to be consistently holding up to her ball striking though. Perhaps some time with the gurus who turned Gary Woodland around would be beneficial.
