Hope everyone drove back during hours that would allow the opposite side of their face to get some sun. Might be a hidden benefit of the end zone seats in that stadium!

It was my brother, and yes, he finally got one after a couple hours on the phone. Found a Cadillac/GM dealer that had the same rims/tires in stock. But it was still a hassle:

First, they said they wouldn't even sell them to him unless he brought it in for them to install them. Problem was, it was backed up to a retaining wall, and it was the back wheels. not sure how you'd even tow it.

Second, they finally relented and said they'd sell them to him. IF he brought the credit card in. Wouldn't take it over the phone. So he called the dealer in Devils Lake, and they called and told them to put it on their corporate account and take care of him. Nope, wouldn't do that either. He had to get a ride over there after the game and pick them up.

What a pain in the ass. He didn't get to enjoy tailgating much either before or after the game...

Got to the cities around 6. Stopped at Buccas in Maple Grove for dinner. Then headed home and never hit any bad weather or bad roads. Which we were shocked about because there was supposed to be snow and freezing rain.
Now there was some horrible wind of 30-40mph but other that that it was a pretty good drive home.

Sounded like the dealership were assholes.

Stayed in council bluffs last night because of road conditions in SD. Many of our Bison friends had the same idea (we stayed at the Amristar casino so that might have been a factor)
Roads were dry all the way home today, unlike the trip down.
I really appreciate the ND DOT and the job they do. SD? not so much

We were parked only a few spots down from your brothers truck and saw the police cruisers when we went to leave for tailgating. We assumed someones car had been broken into. You showed us the picture shortly after we started setting up in the lot and I could not believe it.

With a trailer to haul over and tailgate to set up for 30+ people I don't know that the hell we would have done.

Glad he was able to get it sorted out even if it was a royal pain.
