We are planning on leaving Fargo at 6:00 tonight. Any other road reports through bunny land? Doesn’t take much for 29 to suck.

So hopefully that 3-5" of snow on Thursday for OKC was just a New Year's prank by those dirty weather terrorists.

EDIT: And now they say ~1" of ice during the day Thursday and 1-3" of snow overnight into Friday. So hopefully it won't be too bad for us seasoned winter drivers.
NOBODY can drive on ice! OK does absolutely nothing relative to salt until it is too late and then it is only on bridges. KS and TX are much better relative to winter road maintenance.
That said, the forecast looks a bit better going down Hwy 75 rather and I-35

Last time I made that trek OK was awful. Bisonville was so helpful calling out tough spots and warning everyone.
We ended up getting off the freeway in Guthrie and taking a State highway up that ran parallel-ish which was pretty much empty and we could drive at our own pace.
I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

I live in dfw and travel to and from msp a couple times a year. South of KC I always go I 49 to Joplin, then i44 (ok will Rogers turnpike) to us 69 and then south to us 75 into McKinney Plano. I never take i 35 north of dfw.

That's the way we go also.
