Man, Hector has been a mess for a week by the sounds of it.

Forecast for Oklahoma City looks like kind of a mess Thursday and Thursday night. According to the weather channel 3-5" of snow on Thursday and 1-3" of ice overnight Thursday night. They drive like idiots down there too when the white stuff starts falling.

    Almost forgot this one---

After we left the house we stopped at Twin Pines Resort on Lake Millacs to say hi to Bill and Linda the owners. While there we met a group of Bison fans. Their father played in the late 70s and their uncle in Chuck Mertens. They were all driving down on thursday. They got their tickets from the EWU allotment.

Watch your speed through Sioux City. There is always a photo-enforced radar set up there. Travel safely, everyone.

It's been updated this morning. Still 1-3" of snow and ice overnight Thursday into Friday but during the day now it just says "periods of mixed winter precip" with no accumulation estimates. Seemed kind of wierd they were predicting that much during the day Thursday for OKC when Wichita was supposed to be completely dry and Frisco was just supposed to get a little rain/wintry mix. So hopefully that 3-5" of snow on Thursday for OKC was just a New Year's prank by those dirty weather terrorists.

EDIT: And now they say ~1" of ice during the day Thursday and 1-3" of snow overnight into Friday. So hopefully it won't be too bad for us seasoned winter drivers.
