I have the honor to be Your Obedient Servant - B.Aud
We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
The 1st amendment does not give one absolute impunity to do or day anything one wants, which you know.
Ask any university administrator that created a free speech safe zone. These safe zone prohibited speech to certain time and places on campus. These are the same policies used against university students seeking to sponsor speakers like Milo. Policies That prevented Milo from speaking at several universities (to include ndsu if memory serves me correctly)
I suppose you could argue one president signed an executive order that bans said restrictions. An order that suggest universities must allow free expression across the entire campus.....thus a law that would protect the rights of SA to kneel from those who might want to ban it. Hint the president that created an executive order that strengthens Students 1st admin rights name rhymes with hump.
Isn't it ironic...dontcha ya think maybe a lil to ironic. I really do think.
Still at the end of the day, just because a couple of SA want to make a political statement about abortion and ones right to do what one wants with their body, they cant jerkoff on the 50 hardline in political protest; thus, there certainly are limits.
Hmmmm maybe if one self identifies correctly now they can.....so confused.
Idk, I'm going back to my letter to the Forum...gotta make it right. There is nothing great about those pyramids in Egypt. Well or any pyramids. Tear them all down. Anyway, I am just pulling your chain well sorta.

I never said all speech is protect.
I'm not talking about free speech zones.
I don't give a crap about your straw men.
The government cannot make folks say the pledge, practice proper etiquette during the presentation of the colors, the playing of the national anthem. People do not lose those rights just because they are students or student-athletes.
Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."
But one cant do whatever they want during the "ritual" either.
You asked for an example I gave you one. College universities all across the nation have restrictions in place that prohibit free speech. These are called Free Speech zones. These Free Speech zones were created to Ensure student safety when practicing the First Amendment rights. The zones are so prevalent that South Dakota is or did pass legislation around them.
As I stated it's not a stretch to see how kneeling certainly could incite violence. Thus universities can and could restrict said practices to free speech zones. They do it all the time.
Is it right..... personally I don't think so. But hey what do I know.

According to you everyone needs firing with no evidence. There is no evidence KF has done anything wrong. As a matter of fact there was no evidence the that the S&C
coach was racist either. But after the allegations his position was no longer attenable. So he left with a million because he fell on the sword.
But since as you said KF deserves the sack please enlighten me on why.

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

[QUOTE=ByeSonBusiness;1436938]We are 100% talking about tickets lol. No one in my family donates to Teammakers because they care about scholarships. They care about tickets like everyone else. If the football team is kneeling, I have a strong suspicion that those "donations" will disappear.[/QUOTE
This Captain's Club member agrees; (wish I could afford more, but can't at this time)…,,, what we donate is a "corporate" decision (wife and I). Seeing kneeling players might tilt the scales sincle I'm concurrently paying for 4 season tickets plus additional donations.
Totally respect the decision of those that choose to donate or not donate. Their money=their decision. For me, I would choose to look at the bigger picture and the actions of a few...or even more than a few, will not affect my wanting football tickets. I also donate because I want said tickets. I don't think I'd want to give up those tickets to prove a point. Just me.
