That and to control the posting habits of coach's wives... you know, the important stuff.

Glad I am not the athletic director...
The weather in Fargo keeps the undesirables out.....

...Which is why I live near the Twin Cities.

More a decision to spend my money how and on who I want to.

    Fair enough.

A reminder that we are talking about something that hasn't happened yet but since others are publicly stating they would withdraw funds if a student kneels I will say I vow to double mine if a student kneels.

I actually wouldn't have a huge problem with this.

While professional athletes have zero right to make game day an opportunity for political statements. Students are different.

Now, I might quit donating to Team Makers, but I'm rather okay with the idea from a constitutional perspective.
Partcipating Student athletes do not have a constitutional right to do or say whatever they want at a sanctioned athletic event.....sorry.

When they are attending a game as a fan sure do what u must.

Not sure why they'd pay money for tickets they wouldn't be using anymore.

We're not talking about tickets we are talking about donations to a organization that supports all the student athletes at NDSU.

They do have control. Just like If Pres B does something controversial while representing the school. There can be consequences. No different for the student athlete.
They want to protest? Protest. But dont do it at work and dont do it on my dime. I dont go to a FB game to watch political protest.

Then they should be mindful of their actions. To act in a way that would effect funding for other student athletes is solely on those who perpetuate those acts.

It is interesting to see how willingly people will burn the whole house down just to "enforce" their perfect personal narrative. I think Yoda made some sorta profound statement about believing in absolutes. I believe it was in Episode 3.

(That feeling that you have is normal. My kids hate when I refer to the wisdom of our little green friend.)
    Insert something clever here...
