Winning at K-State is very difficult. He has his hands full there.

I didn’t get to see the game but let’s not all of the sudden act like he is on his second winless season or something. They gave up 300 yards rushing to one player (very much not like a Klieman defense) and lost the game by 13. Not the end of the world.

This is partly due to a new DC IMO. Just like the Bison situation where the head coach has to get involved on the defensive side until the new coordinator gets comfortable. Klieman will do this with his new DC as he did for Entz.

I watched a good chunk of the game...the game was way worse than the score reflected. K-State could not stop the run for anything.

All of what you said is true but it is only one game. Now I’m not saying they’ll go undefeated on the rest of the season by any means and will have a road bump here or there. They’ll figure it out.

FWIW, Sag is still suggesting a final record in the 8-4 to 9-3 range*. I think most KState fans would have been ecstatic with those results prior to the season. Lots of season left, of course.

*Guaranteed losses to Oklahoma and Texas; maybe another loss or two - several close games with KSU slightly favored.

Dude. They beat a good Mississippi State team and lost (albeit badly) to a good Oklahoma State team.

Much of the Big 12 is average to bad. I don't see them going 3-5 the rest of the way and definitely not 2-6.

5-3 or 4-4 to finish the season is pretty realistic if they play like they did the first 3 weeks.
