I've never been to Pecan Lodge (because its downtown and parking's a pain in the ass) so I actually don't know. There are plenty of paid parking lots downtown, but I've never gone downtown during a work day, so I don't know how full they get. They had this map of close commercial parking lots on their website.

Went around block once after locating the actual restaurant location and found credit card surface pay lot within 1 block of Pecan Lodge. Was way easier than I anticipated. Maybe got lucky. Street parking all around but was pretty parked up. Definitely worth it for sure. Hit craft beer place 1/2 block from Pedan Lodge.

Wonder if Pecan Lodge would make a full brisket and Uber Eats it to Toyota Stadium about 2 pm Saturday for postgame tailgate?

Parking during the day shouldn’t be an issue, parking in the neighborhood at night on the weekends takes a bit of finesse

This. Just go straight for this lot. Literally right next to the restaurant. Pay from your cell phone by texting the number on the sign. Was like $2 for parking until 4pm (got there at noon). There are metered spots lining all the surrounding streets, but if there aren’t any readily available near the restaurant, I’d go straight for the pay lot. Can’t beat the ease for $2

Well it was in KC, but on the way to Dallas......hit Arthur Bryant's Barbeque. It was fantastic.

We went to Hutchins. Have never cut a piece of brisket with a plastic fork before. Heaven
The okra was perfect and the peach cobbler, wonderful.
The wind must have shifted because the place soon filled with smoke. I had to wrap my clothes in the plastic dry clean bag because it smelled like a bbq.
