NDSU vs E. Washington - in Frisco

No doubt they have a shot and they will get some big plays. We need to avoid a shootout and play keep away. Both teams have good offenses, but we have a much better defense.
They have a better defense than last year, but so is our offense.

I would agree that overall the Bison defense is better, it is IMO the best defense in FCS football. However, when you have two high caliber teams, points (offense) and stops (defense) often are a matter of individual matchups. I think what may be a key in this game is how well the Bison passing defense, and mainly the safeties, cornerbacks, and to some extent the linebackers, match up against their fast and good-handed receivers and what appears to be a pretty good QB on EW's team.
