Yeah, I know they don't update them online very often, the rank even less often than the points. I've seen my points go up and my rank not move. Maybe that's why they said that. I think I have more points from recent donations that they haven't reflected online yet either. I'm not sure why they can't tie those numbers on the website into whatever they use to track points and rank to update them real time but it is what it is.
