With his mug plastered all over the screen again last night......Tatanka extends his gaudy lead (most fan appearances on a college football telecast) over Mount Union superfan Mike Litoris (Gene Masseth's illegitimate son)…...397 to 12.

I wonder if NDSU has ever been in a game in which 5 touchdowns were scored in 1 quarter especially with them not scoring 2 of them.

If NDSU wins in Frisco next month, the program will be the first in the history of college football (FBS, FCS/1AA, and Division 2) to have two 15 win seasons. (147 years)

Edit: Looks like I jumped the gun.....The site that I was on did not list Division 2 history.

    So....
Northwest Missouri State (D-2) has 4 15 win seasons and Minnesota Duluth (D-2) has 2.

CAS.....I'm not seeing a 3rd for NDSU? Or did you mean number of undefeated seasons regardless of win total?

Does that include no-loss seasons? Cuz if it does, that’s even better. If not, then we would have 3 15 wins seasons, no?

Mt Union, UW-Whitewater and NW Missouri State have several 15-0 seasons. NDSU would be the first program currently in DI to have two 15-0 seasons. Yale had 16-0 and 15-1 seasons back in the 1800's. Penn had 15-0 and 15-1 seasons in the 1800's too.

    Gotcha—so 2 15-O DI seasons.

Is 30 wins in two DI seasons more than total wins for up North? I don’t keep track that closely.

    Well...….if you wanna get technical...…….

St. Copius of Northern Nebraska had seventeen 23 wins seasons in the mid-70s.
