With his mug plastered all over the screen again last night......Tatanka extends his gaudy lead (most fan appearances on a college football telecast) over Mount Union superfan Mike Litoris (Gene Masseth's illegitimate son)…...397 to 12.
I wonder if NDSU has ever been in a game in which 5 touchdowns were scored in 1 quarter especially with them not scoring 2 of them.
If NDSU wins in Frisco next month, the program will be the first in the history of college football (FBS, FCS/1AA, and Division 2) to have two 15 win seasons. (147 years)
Edit: Looks like I jumped the gun.....The site that I was on did not list Division 2 history.
So....
Northwest Missouri State (D-2) has 4 15 win seasons and Minnesota Duluth (D-2) has 2.
CAS.....I'm not seeing a 3rd for NDSU? Or did you mean number of undefeated seasons regardless of win total?

Well...….if you wanna get technical...…….
St. Copius of Northern Nebraska had seventeen 23 wins seasons in the mid-70s.
