Pretty darn impressive staff. I like the mix of Bison and some new blood to continue to evolve things. The game is constantly changing and they need to stay sharp.

To me the most impressive of all the hires is Grant Olson as LB coach. He'll be a fine head coach one day......hopefully in Fargo.

In other news, Bohl just let go of Scott Fuchs at Wyoming. Possible TE coach? Coach Riley started as the TE coach before moving to OL when Fuchs left.

    Wow! That move surprises me!

I can't get excited over A.J. Blazek coming over to the Bison because Rutgers is just a horrible team and have been for decades. I've always said NDSU could beat Rutgers in football and people at work never believed me. The closest to proving that was when we beat Iowa and a banged up Iowa beat Rutgers the following week.

    Doesn't mean he's a bad coach?

I sure hope not. Being that the local rags around these parts printed the following talking about his departure "Despite the fact Rutgers had an abysmal offensive season in 2018,..." doesn't help. On the plus side, his style of offensive is more in line with NDSU's style than what Rutgers fans expected.
