We had a senior laden team that was a legitimate top 25 team.

K State was coming off a year in which they had graduated a ton of seniors who were apart of a team that at one time was #1 in the BCS.

Just saying that there were some reasons, outside of S&C coaches, which lead to this game being a win for NDSU.

I am not opposed to TR, but how developed is his play calling etc. Seems like a huge jump to me. I would think you just move him up to the next rung.

Watch the last drive and their hands on their hips. They were gassed. Sure there were other reasons, but a major one in beating the humidity was conditioning, conditioning, conditioning---and salt.

Guess I will share this now that it was announced....

The wheels were in motion since late last Thursday. Klieman had informed Larsen that he was likely leaving for K State. Media reports were correct in that he WAS going to be named head coach on Friday.

Late last week, Tim Polasek flew to Fargo to interview. Other candidates were Matt Entz and Conor Riley. Polasek had told a former player that he thought he was a third option to those two.

Klieman worked closely with Larsen during this process to ensure an internal candidate remained.

I think it is 50/50 regarding Riley leaving based on the Entz hire. If Mess leaves, I am guessing Riley is here. If Mess goes, I am thinking Riley is here as OC.
