I was away from the computer all day, things are looking great. So when do we find out about Mess, Riley, and Kramer?

Why are so many asking about Kramer? Taylor had a hard enough time convincing brass and supporters to accept Kleiman, there is no way Kleiman was going into that situation with leverage to clean house and bring in all his guys. This is as good as Kleiman leaving for a P5 coordinator position in terms of minimal losses to other coaches and staff.

"""BS: As we get into the details over the next few days, were there any stipulations put on Coach Klieman or any of the candidates for that matter about the current coaching staff retention?
GT: No there's not. As you go through this process, we have some really great assistants. All we told every candidate is look, we have some great staff. We encourage you to interview as many or all of them, whatever you feel your needs are, because obviously they have coaches they're familiar with and coaches that they've coached with or people they've worked with that are maybe at other institutions. But we never want to say you have to hire somebody, that puts that coach in a bad position and puts the assistants in a bad position if you think about it because they only want to work if they're wanted too. We did tell them here are our staff that we think would be great additions if you wanted to keep them but that's up to you as the head coach. There was never a stipulation on any, whether it was Coach Klieman or any of our candidates, and there were never any real financial issues. They knew exactly what the contract was going to be and those that were interested knew what our parameters were. People take jobs and don't get jobs for a lot of different reasons. """
Fact is they have some quality people. Their S&C coach is world class from what ive read and some of the KSU coaches are also studs who have great recruiting ties in OK and TX. CK could of cleaned house. But why do so when there are quality people already on staff and may be more qualified than what we have here.
We arent going to lose as many coaches as some think.

Honest question on Vigen: Is the story that GT offered him the HC gig first before Klieman not true or do people think he's changed his mind and would rather be HC at NDSU that OC at Wyoming now?
How I understood it was that Gene approached Vigen first to see if he had interest and Vigen said he didn't. Then Gene approached Klieman who didn't turn him down but didn't want to talk about it yet at that time.
So I think saying that Vigen was offered the job was premature. I'd guess that Gene would've given both Vigen and Klieman an interview if both showed interest, it's just that Vigen didn't show any interest.
Kudos to NDSU brass for making this hire when they did. Both coaches come out of the tunnel on Friday eve and if NDSU wins I would allow Klieman to ride off to KSU, ASAP!. Signing day Wednesday isn't doing anybody any good with two coaches looking at some of the same players and many other concerns as well. Get to work guys!!!!
