So, NDSU has always had a head coach-in-waiting (at least during our run); do we have one on the current staff? do we stick with promoting the DC or would a nation wide search be in order? Personally, I like the promoting from within concept.

You cant argue with what he's done at NDSU from a results standpoint. Lets say we get the natty this year...that's 50-6 since 2019 with 3 national championships.

Even if it's not P5, Liberty just hired Coastal Carolina's coach for around $4 mil/year. Coastal then turns around and hires a guy for close to $1 mil/year. Entz isn't going to turn down a payday, nor should he.

Not sure if kidding, but I agree. Promote him and bring back Messingham. That would be my unrealistic dream
