Why do you think our Director of Football Operations started following a massive amount of Kansas kids, at one point started following a K State coach, was following Kansas sports writers and then started unfollowing them after this got posted?

Look, maybe I’m wrong, but this was EXTREMELY telling to me. At a minimum, he was “getting ready” for the prospects of a new job.

I just don't understand the way coaches chase after "better jobs." Whoever goes to the Little Apple will have an incredibly difficult time of having to operating in the shadow of Snyder. How do you ever make that job your own?

I see this choice as:

1. 20 years in Fargo with you guys and be the most successful college football coach ever.
2. 5 years in Manhattan until he gets fired essentially for not being Bill Snyder.

He would be smarter to let the next guy at K-State try and fail and then swoop in for the job.

I've always thought the same. No way to ever really know until you're in these situations but I would much rather live here, get paid a ton (while not more than at Kansas State, its still a shit ton) and be a God to these people (us schmucks)
