He will get a minimum contract of 1.2-1.5 million over 5 years guaranteed. Worst case he bombs out and is canned after year 2 and walks away with a 4 million dollar buyout. He loses half of that to taxes and can put the rest in retirement. He can then get a job coaching at a P5 school as a Linebackers coach making 300K and be able to retire at 60 and live happily ever after. Imagine if its anything BUT the worst case scenario as listed above. In the next five years if he goes 10-2 at KSU and finishes second in the Big 12 he will get a stupid huge contract extension and have FU money. Worth the squeeze, you betcha!

A guaranteed deal for 3 years at 1.5 million?? Yeah, the juice is worth the squeeze. Only people who aren't offered a 1.5 million dollar a year contract 4.5 to 6.0 Million guarentee can question taking one. And, no recent contracts Im aware of are short of a 3-4 year guarantee, or more.

Will any coach at KSU be compared to Snyder until the end of time, yes?You have never coached then......with what is being posted by K-State fans and alums, Klieman is headed for a very hostile climate and will be compared constantly to the "Legendary K-State Coach" he replaced....you think Bison fans are hard to please.........
