A QB doesn't have to be a run first guy to be a running threat and likewise a pass first QB doesn't have to be a statue in the pocket either. We need a QB that's capable of stretching the field vertically. If he's able to extend plays, keep his eyes downfield and complete passes that's the type of QB that gives a defense fits. I think some of our fans and coaches got spoiled by watching Easton shred a defense with his legs. Very few QBs are as durable as Easton was so the fewer designed QB runs the better IMO.
