I have my doubts about JMU's short-term prospects for success. They lost nine coaches (Houston and eight assistants) from a team that relies on transfers, not a team/program that builds from the ground up. Next year, a whole new staff will be walking into a place that seems to rely on the "quick fix" rather than relying on a culture of winning. I'm not sure that is a recipe for success.
I agree with this. Maybe they make the playoffs again, because the CAA is proving to be much softer than even the Big Sky this year.

They return 20-21 starters next year. They won’t need a lot of transfers to fill spots. The biggest question will be the new set of coaches and HC.

You remember when JMU had a great QB? That was awesome.

(I think that is a huge problem for them.)

Right, and then they dropped 2 conference games and exited the playoffs in round 2. I just don't think a team gets better when there is a coaching change, but I could be wrong about that.

I believe Houston won the championship his first year at JMU...
The white jerseys are the best. Don't even bother to argue.

Fair point. That type of IMMEDIATE turn-around has to be some kind of aberration, no?
