It’s be nice to have a coach/program that can pull 1 of the top 10 Minnnesota Players…. Let alone offer 1 of them

Literally every Summit League team is struggling to find quality home games, it was a hot topic at the conference media day. There's a ton of issues, cost of travel due to lack of large travel hub for direct flights, risking travel in the winter months in the upper midwest, plus the Summit has provided quality mid major teams so other smaller conference teams don't want to go through all of the travel to likely come up here and get beat, there's no benefit for them. That's why there's a lot of pressure from the coaches and AD's on the league to help get more setups like the Big Sky/Summit challenge. 2 guaranteed D1 games with 1 at home, if we can get one or 2 more of those set up with other conferences like the Horizon, MAC, MVC or even WAC it would provide home D1 games for all teams involved.

I also think NDSU and UND need to work together to get weekend home and home deals in place. I'd love to see like Green Bay and Milwaukee come up for a trip to NDSU and UND one weekend and have NDSU and UND return the trip either in another year or same year. Could set things up like that with old conference teams too like PFW, IUPUI, WIU, etc. It's tough do depending on when teams can get their buy games on the schedule and scheduling around it but every stone needs to be unturned to try to get more D1 home games for all the Summit League teams.

I saw a stat that 61% of the Summit League home games this season are non-D1 opponents, it's not just NDSU, it's everybody and of the 39% that are D1 that number includes the Big Sky/Summit Challenge games so it's rough this year. Coaches need help from the league somehow.

How many of these Top 10 players are committed to P6 schools?

How many of the rest - the uncommitted Top 10’s have P6 offers?

The Summit Leagues biggest scheduling problem is they don’t want to spend money on it. Money talks. Denver and Omaha and UND care more about hockey. The Dakota 4 spend more on football than most FCS programs and underfund their BB teams relatively speaking. KC is…well KC. If the Dakota schools put some resources into basketball I think they could really elevate the league. Hopefully someday they realize that.

What was Andrew Morgan’s ranking when he was recruited?

What was Josh Streit’s ranking when he was recruited?

Has NDSU offered any other Minnesotans in recent years?
