Feels like it’s time for Matt Larsen to show his metal as an AD. No clue whether that means change in MBB/WBB HC’s, but it feels like leadership is needed big time, cuz it looks/feels like things in the BB programs are going south in a hurry. This is mandatory time/place for a real AD to step up.

I would like to believe that, but I was around KU a long time. The administration pretty much is hands off BB because it is a big time moneymaker and the only sport KU really excels in. I had a good friend who passed away who was the assistant provost during the Roy Williams years and he basically said BB is not a topic for most of the admin unless there is trouble and then they just call the attorney. He may be proud of the BB team and enjoyed the benefits, but I doubt he will be actively involved unless it is to change ADs.

How was Tim Miles and Saul Phillips able to beat schools like Wisconsin, Marquette, Oklahoma, Notre Dame? They sure as hell did not have the funding and facilities Dave has FFS! If you think just pouring more money into the program will suddenly make Dave a better coach you're fooling yourself! He took a program coming off 2 straight NCAA appearances and flushed it down the crapper! His offensive style fucking sucks and he couldn't coach himself out of a paper bag!
