you guys are so right, players are knocking down the doors to transfer to ndsu & play this style. (we got a D2 guy & Juco guy that barely played to transfer last year) how did I not see this before

ok maybe Sam is gonna play for Creighton or Nebraska, but he's definitely not staying at ndsu so that tells us enough

I am a longtime Bison fan from the late 70's. I do not find it appealing the current style of play but give him credit we do make the tournament even if we as other mid majors do lose in the first round. Allot of schools would kill to be in our shoes to have a chance to make the tournament every year or so. He has picked up his recruiting lately so keep that in mind also. I wish he would be less concerned with his record and schedule up more frequently but in his defense losses by 30 or so do not do help the psyche of his team. We want to be competitive and see good opponents but nobody likes blowouts either on a regular basis. We need to schedule other high mid majors first then occasionally schedule a big power 5 school. We need to take incremental steps to improve our strength of schedule it doesn't happen over night it is a process.

I feel football should set it sights higher, aka FBS since we are 150-11
I feel that basketball program would benefit from it as well & really wish they had more success, 1 huge ncaa win in 13 years of D1 Is all we have to show, If people are satisfied & not pushing then we have major problems like apathy/fatigue..

So yea I am very positive on many things

This one doesnt surprise me, MHH and Cook did. Guy was never really able to find his footing at this level and fell out of the rotation. Kids only have so many years to play and it was likely he wasnt going to find adquate playing time at NDSU....best of lucky Willie.

We did offer Tony Osburn (PG Omaha), I would take Mason Walters if he wanted to try out D1 ball and any chance of Paul Burns. We better hope the freshman are ready to play! We need to recruit two more PGs just to practice decent.
