NDSU 100% needs a new direction because this basketball program could be a goldmine for the athletic dept. 1500,2000 fans don't cut it
0 wins over a higher ranked team per say (power 5, etc)
bad losses sprinkled in, lucky to catch sdsu choking in summit tourney 2 times.

watch the last timeout of wiu game w 7 seconds left, the players don't even listen to him anymore, it's regressed.

you wanna keep Grant Nelson from. transferring, you gotta move on as well.

IF Richman is let go after this year(or next) we need to double the salary for the position. We have to start growing basketball as a premier sport. We can give both football and basketball the support they deserve.

no I'm gonna push my alma mater to raise their game. I do remember that big sign in the NDSU weight room saying "BRING ON THE COMPETITION"

The biggest problem I have with Richman is we spent 40 million for the SHAC, we pay FOCA, have newer weight room and a new practice arena yet his best team was his first year and each year it seems the team gets a little worse...His best team practiced in some warehouse, not the SHAC!

We wont be better next year if Eady, Sammy and Rocky are gone as expected.

The Western game was a perfect example of a defensive system where I am not sure if we are putting our guys in best position for success.

Western's PG had about 30, so they were running a 1/5 screen about 25 feet from basket at the top of the key. Eady and Rocky automatically switch. Is that really putting Rocky in the best position for success long term? Having him guard a PG that is quick about 20 feet from the basket. Can't we have Eady fight over/under the screen to get back to defending the ball if the PG is playing that well.

In the first half when the big guy was backing down everybody and Rocky got two quick fouls. Rocky is most important big to keep on the floor as both Nelson and Morgan are hurt. Shouldn't we be trying to help Rocky out as he is only healthy big man on the roster? Should we have sent a 2nd defender once in while or doubled from the other big that Western was playing?
