Utah State's 4 leading candidates.
I see Tim Miles & Weber State coach....

NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
Technically these aren't the 4 leading candidates, this is just a list this sports writer think make sense for the job. I would certainly think Tim Miles gets an interview though, had success in the conference and has something to prove after getting passed over for Pitino.
U of M regents thumbed their nose at tim miles cuz of nebraska which is unfortunate.
still waiting to see our coach get that 1st offer! such a hot commodity.

I agree with JE - and it’s easy to assume JE is also optimistic about next season. NDSU finished 180ish in this year’s NCAA rankings, 11-5 Summit League (no other home games than Summit League)
In. A. Rebuilding. Year.
By comparison, NDSU ranked at 109 last season (23-8) going into the NCAA Tournament - after winning the Summit League Tournament (again).
If Coach Richman were to suddenly leave, then Chapo would be whining about how he left right before NDSU coulda/woulda been very, very good......
Have any of your watched the Big Dance this year? Not many teams in there has the same plodding offense & "hard nosed" defense that Richman prides himself on and forces us to watch.
Watching Sweet 16, Elite 8 and the way they move the ball and run up and down the court is breathtaking.
Craig Smith went to South Dakota, 1 week before Saul left & we got Dave. Timing man.
I think NDSU would be top 10 Mid Major the last 5-6 years if we had a fast paced attacking style offense.
