2013-14 was a pretty good year for the Herd. 26-7. But you know what they say Any Given Tipoff.

Big win at Notre Dame. And 18 point loss at UND. How do you figure.

At Notre Dame SU players on the roster for that win Marshall Bjorkland 26 points, Lawrence Alexander, Kory Brown, Carlin Dupree, Mike Felt and Taylor Braun. Not the Planet of The Apes Taylor.

The loss at UND Brandon Brekke only played 3 minutes in that game. I can't remember the year he got injured. Elbow to the head. But it was against SU. That pretty much ended his Basketball career.
Hope his life is OK and free of problems.

These 2 movies at least one of them had local ties. Decide for yourself if the other has local ties. Meaning the Red River Valley.

Fargo 1996 the filming of some of this was in the Northern Valley.
They stayed in Grand Forks for awhile.
While here there bar of choice was the Uptown Bar and Bowling Alley.
The Adult store The Plain Brown Rapper was one store away from the Uptown. The song, What Condition My Condition was in applys.

Two years later 1998 The Big Lebowski is released. The bowling alley is a big part of this film.

Did there experience in GF at the Uptown Bar and Bowling Alley have something to do with the making of this movie? Could it all be about there time here? I bowled Leagues there in the 80s.
