Chapo... I’m generally pretty fair with your takes, yeah?

Anyway, on this one, I would leave it alone. We lost to a team we shouldn’t have lost to, and it happened to be the one school where if we could win 2 games all year and lose the rest, we win those 2. I think we’re silent because we just want to forget it happened.

Also, Basketball is one of those sports where upsets are more likely to happen. That’s why March Madness is so great. Just my take.

Look these takes are getting old, did we lose a game we shouldn't have, yes....it happens. In fact it happens more often against UND than any other team, a split with them is not that uncommon. That's what happens in rivalries, hell even Gonzaga through all of its years of dominance would drop a game to St. Mary's here and there. Now is Dave to blame, obviously for some of it, primarily that playing basically a 6 man rotation on back to back nights plus overtime is not going to get it done. The guys looked fatigued, they were slower to close out, had some bad fouls we avoided the night before, a few lazy turnovers, etc. That being said Rocky played out of his mind which was great to see and we lost in OT, it wasn't like we got blown out. My guess is we won't see a 6 man rotation for a full weekend again, lesson learned.

As far as the power 5 win, it's frustrating to all of us we haven't gotten one. Especially with all the opportunities. If we replayed that schedule now with these guys having over a dozen games under there belt I bet we come up with at least 1 W out of that schedule if not multiple. Everybody is playing better, the offense finally isn't completely stagnant, we will be fine. Everybody is just sick of arguing with you, after all you were the one bitching about getting ND kids for recruits and Grant Nelson looks to be one of the best that will ever play here by time he's done so maybe if people didn't have to listen to you bitch and moan every time they come on this forum they would be more likely to come on here and support the team and be positive about a team that is 5-1 in conference play and is poised for another run to the NCAA tournament.
