El Chapo is right. No big out of conference wins under his tenure.

Name the level we need to achieve to be real DI? Name the program we need to equate? You'll likely name a program spending 3-4x our budget, with major tv revenue.

What do we spend . . . 1.8-2.0 million? Need to get to 3.0, then we need to get to 4.0 That's done by people filling up the stadium and ticket prices rising ala the football team spending. And people like Chapo giving instead of yapping.

I would agree that we can reach the level of those two programs. We need to reach there or obviously better.

We should be able to pay a coach 3.2 million like Wichita, more than our entire budget? We should be able to get into a conference equal to the Big East?

    I think a more reasonable goals are . . .

averaging 4500/game by 2022; fix arena seating issues
increasing BB budget to 2.5 million by 2022
increasing HC salary to 400,000 to be able to retain coaches at a better level
winning 20+ games each of the next 5 seasons
NCAA Tournament in 2 of 5 years
putting the program at the top of summit as a candidate for another conf.

Agreed. We have to get the coach's salaries into the SDSU range ($300-400K) before we can dream about Wichita or Creighton level stuff. It would also be nice to get rid of the crappy sub-D1 regular season games and get some higher profile OOC opponents into the SHAC than a Big Sky team or two amongst other low majors.

All that takes dollars though and the investment isn't there from the fan base or the AD right now in MBB.

I think that the ad and the fans spending go hand in hand with the awful home games to start the season it’s hard to get any excitement going
