I saw an energy in this team last night that I hadn't seen since Richman first year or the Saul years. Maybe he's finding some middle ground after all.

Geu had bursts last night but man at times he was a bit lost. I don't know that he would have the muscle/body to "push" Daum around or any other forward that is a "banger" down low. I can kind of see why he may not get minutes but if he's playing well not sure why you wouldn't. Didn't we have the same sort of problem with Wright back in Saul's tenure as well though? Have to wonder if some of that is coming from training staff saying their body can't take that beating every couple of days? Especially since boys/men are still somewhat physically developing at that age?

But I'm not an elite bball mind either. I maybe can recognize an obvious pick and roll play and the weave but that's about it!

Sent by my phone on a bullet train from Hillsboro.
deng can throw daum around like its his job...we got 3 guys that can guard daum they got zero that can guard dang...the 2-4 min stall attack at the end i thought was a smart at least it was a strategy and it should have got the job done i thought it threw sdsu into a bit of a panic they didnt know what the hell was going on...but bottom line weather its against sdsu or whoever when them teams start to make a run gue needs to get touches until its stopped i think if you throw it into him 3 straight possiesions it will end any and every run

What if he gets extended before the tourney, then we get bounced by UND or some other lower seed in the first round? I prefer Larsen wait until our tourney run ends before making a decision.

if we were still in the tank and we had nothing to lose yea thad be fine but i think at this point its rediculous to leave him hanging going into the tourney that will create a lot of pressure and uncertainty for a young group that appears ready to make some noise...all the pressure needs to be on the jacks and their "historic" asperations

Why are we giving him an extension right now? Let it play out, no reason to make any stupid decisions that we may regret like the school up north and Brad Jones.

Richman has three games and the Summit tournament to show what he can do. His contract situation has never seemed to impact the team in anyway, in fact when things were the bleakest they played their best.

if thats the way it goes and they get bounced early ill put more than half the blame on larsen and he better have an out of the park home run hire or else his ass will be out the door next

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out there was a handshake agreement all along.
Perhaps someone with inside info will fill that in at some point.

It also would not surprise to find out the AD had studied the situation, consulted his sources, (incl Bisonville )
and “recommended” to the Coach his offense needed change - if that included changing whoever was in charge of it on the bench, so be it. Richman would not be the 1st Coach, college or pro, who was pushed into changes.

And of course, Richman and staff may have worked out their own changes.
Like I said before, perhaps someone with inside info will fill in the blanks at some point in time......

And some of the Jackrabbits did have historic aspirations for this team, wanting a good seed in the NCAA’s (by Summit standards), they struggled in pre-conference and are in a 2 game funk right now, looking vulnerable. What will they do??? How will they respond???

Speaking to the Jacks aspirations, IF they get to the dance they will do nothing as usual. Daum is slow and doesn't get the king treatment he does in the Summit and they have zero depth. If they represent the Summit in March they will play a respectable game but lose by 12-17 yet again.

So what happens if he gets an extension and is bounced early? At this point, ML just needs to let it play out and make the best decision at the end of the season.

They are lucky the Summit tournament is at Frost South, not sure they would survive three games on a neutral floor.

We need a FRESH NEW START.. We need a Fast Paced Coach who is an offensive Guru.. that's how you get people in the seats. Sorry, these are FACTS!

NDSU is 14-13 now. (12-13 vs D1 teams)

ZERO wins over a quality team.... ZERO.

Lets say they go 1-2 in last 3 games.. then record is 13-15 vs D1 teams.... could be 12-15 and lose in 1st round.

You really gonna give a coach an extension off a 12-16 record and ZERO Quality wins

Heck I just went thru their record on gobison the last 5 years.

    ZERO not 1 BIG WIN..... Z E R O. it's time.
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
