I would not like playing UC-Davis 2nd rd, JMU quarters, SDSU semis.

Bids are submitted before field is announced. Teams are paired by geography and then the highest bid gets home game.

The Bison would blow out UC Davis, a Big Sky team that hasn't been relevant for years.

Stand your ground, have a tough hide, roam wild and free, have a strong spirit, let the chips fall where they may.

So bids are submitted before the field is selected? If so is it fair to say a bubble team like Montana would be favored over someone like... UND?

Not sure if the bids are disclosed to the committee. Not that you’d need to know the actual numbers in the specific circumstance you outline.

Bids needed to be submitted last week(?). According to the rule book, they select the field, then the seeds. From there, they fill out the bracket using geography and other factors(trying to get travel costs as low as possible overall). Once the bracket is set, they open the bids from the first round teams to find out who gets the home game. If the bids are the same(possible if both schools put in the minimum bid), they'll look at how much they could expect to make and take the higher, barring any big reason not to.

As much as it pains me to say it, I’d rather have him pick the seeds than the actual committee
