    Might seem the right time to flex a little more in the salary dept. We're going to have to contend with FBS assistant salaries.

    We need to get there eventually anyways. It's easier to close the deal on a new coach with a 50-100k signing bonus. This is where boosters can kill it.

    That's how UNI kept Ben Jacobson. We cant keep Klieman but assistants or a new coach...

    It's time to step up the buy-out when a new HC contract is negotiated. NDSU is a great job and they need to flex their muscles on that a little bit. The kinds of schools that are poaching our coaches aren't going to sneeze at a $300k-$400k buy-out.

    Agree with this. The buyout should at least be equal to the coaches salary. I think $500K would be fair.
