I just want this whole KSate thing done with. Just want to know who our new HC is and to beat the jackrabbits and start to get some normalcy back. I’m happy for Klieman and his family but just want it done now.

probably. I'm going to trust that he's giving NDSU the proper amount of attention and that his assistants are able to pick up any slack. He and Hank might just be locking down recruits until the season is over and the rest of our coaches can concentrate on the games.

What is the downside of increasing the buyout to a reasonable (i.e. 500k) amount?

Also, I thought the buyout decreased as time went on. Might have started higher but after 5 years possibly lowered.

First three years was equivalent to coach's annual salary, so it actually increased until last year when it went down to a flat $150k
