    Sounds like their OC Ryan Day is taking over. Although I suppose they could try to bring Campbell back as OC.

    I guess Zach Smith and D. J. Durkin let alone Meyer himself aren’t enough to keep Ohio State from selecting another apple off that coaching tree.

    He's pretty highly regarded. Only been in Columbus since last year. Not necessarily deep on the coaching tree. Did a pretty good job, albeit with weak competition when Meyer was suspended.

    From what I saw he’s been in Meyer’s orbit since 2005.

    That's very different than either of the two cited earlier. He was a GA for Florida in 2005. He was in Chip Kelly's orbit longer than he was in Urban Meyers.

    He's considered an outsider in Columbus and exactly what they need.
