    Another hopeful note on the assistant front. They covet Texas and Oklahoma as recruiting areas. Maybe CK keeps some K State assistants with ties there? Might not leave the cupboard bare.

    Reading some of the commments from KState fans are effing hilarious. I get you will always have the haters but some of their boards already have entire threads dedicated to how bad they think the hire would be.

    FWIW. Kansas State has the smallest athletic budget in the Big12 as recent as 2017. And if my eyes are not wrong. Only 1 P5 school has lower athletic expenses. Only caveat is private school do not report funding
